2 people injured in 4-car crash
BETHEL — Two people were sent to the hospital after a four-car crash in Bethel, according to the Stony Hill Fire Department.
The fire department was called around 7:41 p.m. to help the Bethel Fire Department with a four-car crash, according to Assistant Chief Patrick Magyar.
Two people were taken to Danbury Hospital. Magyar was unaware of the extent of their injuries.
Stony Hill fire officials said fire units and medics responded to the Bethel Fire Department’s district to help with the crash. Two of the vehicles collided head-on.
Officials said entrapment was initially reported, but crews found extrication wasn’t needed.
Bethel police are investigating the crash. Police officials did not immediately respond to request for additional information.
