Santa Claus is coming to town early this year

BROOKFIELD — Santa Claus is coming to town to give out presents early to local children.

Jerry DeJulia’s Santa Claus has been visiting kids in Connecticut and Florida around Christmas for more than 55 years.

He’ll be at Rolling Wood 11 Essex Court building 15 in Brookfield from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve to hand out free gifts, such as candy canes, to children 7 and under.

DeJulia said this may be his last year as Santa.
