UConn’s home game against Marquette is canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the Marquette program, the Big East announced Sunday evening.

The Huskies were scheduled to host the Golden Eagles on Wednesday at the XL Center.

UConn’s next game will be on Friday in Chicago at DePaul.

Per the conference’s updated cancellation policy, the Big East will attempt to reschedule UConn’s game against Marquette.

If the game cannot be rescheduled it will count as a no-contest for both teams.

UConn is coming off a 10-day holiday break after losing 69-64 to Louisville on Dec. 19.

The school announced Sunday that ticket holders for Wednesday’s scheduled game will keep their seats if the game against Marquette is rescheduled to a later date.

If the game cannot be rescheduled, the program will credit the ticket holder for the game’s tickets at the end of the season.
