David Owen Davison, 81 of Bethlehem departed this life Wednesday, December 22, 2021. A lifelong Connecticut resident, David was born and raised in Danbury to the late Owen and June Davison. Musically gifted, David was an Episcopal Church organist from the age of 15 for more than 60 years and was a music teacher in the Danbury school system for 39 of those years. In his retirement, David enjoyed reading, restoring old cars and antique farm tractors. He followed NASCAR for many years, and especially liked keeping his lawn and property well-groomed. But more than anything David enjoyed sharing his interests with and visiting with family.

Remaining to cherish his memory are David’s five children; Amy Davison of Bethlehem, Scott (Marcy) Davison of New Milford, Christopher Davison of Bridgewater, Julia (Bruce) Cianciolo of Watertown, Jennifer (Gary) McClendon of Watertown, and 7 grandchildren; Danielle and David McClendon, Jenna, Jared, Jeffery and Joseph Cianciolo, and Steven Wixted. He is also survived by his sweet dog Sunny.

David was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Linda (Stevenson) Davison.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
