Three state women’s hockey teams are ranked in U.S. College Hockey Online’s poll released Monday morning.

UConn joined Quinnipiac and Yale in the site’s poll, moving into a tie with Harvard for 10th place as teams resume play after the break for finals and the holidays. The Huskies and Crimson each received eight points; only 12 teams drew votes, with Providence picking up one point.

The Huskies are 14-4-2 and last played Dec. 4. They resume play Friday and Saturday at Vermont. Harvard lost two home games to Minnesota-Duluth over the weekend to fall to 9-5-0.

Quinnipiac (15-2-3) remained at No. 4 after a 5-2 loss and 1-1 tie at unanimous No. 1 Wisconsin.

Bobcats goalie Corinne Schroeder stopped 74 of 79 shots in the two games, including 41 in Sunday’s tie, nine of them in overtime. She was named ECAC Goalie of the Week on Monday.

Yale, 10-3-1 and ranked this season for the first time ever, remained at No. 7. The Bulldogs were to resume play Tuesday against Sacred Heart, but that game has been postponed because of COVID-19 cases with the Pioneers. Yale instead returns with visits from Union on Friday and from RPI on Saturday.

The USA Today/USA Hockey women’s poll comes out Tuesdays. The Huskies were tops among teams also receiving votes in the last poll before the break, Dec. 14. Quinnipiac was fourth and Yale was eighth in that last poll.
