Paulo R. Vieira

Paulo R. Vieira, 78, of Danbury, husband of Maria (Melo) Vieira; father of David P. (Elisa Bete) Vieira, and Noemia (Paul) Giglio; brother of Msgr. Victor M. Vieira, David R, (Tina) Vieira, Jose R. (Graca) Vieira, and Estrela ( Jamie) Rahm; grandfather of Victor Vieira, Nicholas A. Vieira, Mikayla Giglio, and Lucas C. Vieira, died on Tuesday evening, January 11, 2022, at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, January 17, 2022, at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 149 Deer Hill Ave., Danbury. Interment will take place at the direction of the family. The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 Granville Ave., Danbury on Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Contributions in Mr. Vieira’s memory may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish or to Regional Hospice of Western CT, 30 Milestone Rd., Danbury. Masks and or facial coverings must be worn by all attendees. Please wear a mask or facial covering out of concern for the safety of all.
