David Paul Gillotti

David Paul Gillotti, age 47, of New Fairfield, CT, died suddenly on January 5, 2022 at Danbury Hospital. Dave was born on December 8, 1974 in Danbury, CT son of the late Albert David & Paula (Fischer) Gillotti. He was a graduate of New Fairfield High School. David married Barbara Jane Ferris on March 7, 2012. He was devoted to his wife Barb, stepchildren Jessica and Blake, and granddaughters Aubrey and Brinley. He loved his grandmother “Nan” as much as one person could. Dave was a motorcycle enthusiast who owned and operated “Harley Dave’s Chop & Shop”, was a master of his art and loved classic cars. He loved boating on Candlewood Lake.

Dave was known as the dog whisperer; he loved all dogs. Dave was selfless, kind, generous, & would lend a hand to anyone. To be known by Dave was to be loved by him. Dave is survived by his wife Barbara, stepchildren; Jessica and Blake, granddaughters; Aubrey and Brinley, brother Cody Gillotti, “sister” Danielle Mazza, grandmother Nancy Fischer, and multiple nieces nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Matthew and Justin, and grandfather Dr. Paul H. Fischer.
