Ability Beyond receives $9,000 donation
The 501(c)3 organization, Ability Beyond, has received a $9,000 charitable contribution from the Ellen Knowles Harcourt Foundation, a private nonprofit organization.
The donation will be used to upgrade the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system at one of the three Ability Beyond residential programs in New Milford.
Ability Beyond is headquartered in Connecticut, with an office at 4 Berkshire Blvd. in Bethel, and in New York with an office at 480 Bedford Road in Chappaqua.
Ability Beyond serves individuals with physical, mental, and developmental disabilities in the greater New Milford and Danbury area.
The Harcourt Foundation has donated over $40,000 in money to Ability Beyond’s services and programs since 1997.
The money helps connect people with disabilities and mental illness to jobs, housing, transportation, clinical resources, social networks and their personal goals.
Ability Beyond is grateful to the Harcourt Foundation for supporting their mission to discover, build and celebrate the ability in all people.
Ability Beyond is a 501(c)3 organization that provides a wide range of services for people with disabilities, and mental illnesses.
