Ann Mescall

Ann (Lamp) Mescall, 82, of Danbury, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, at River Glen Health Care, Southbury, CT, surrounded by her loving family.

Ann was the daughter of the late Angelo and Dorothy (Antinozzi) Lamp and was predeceased by her brother Dennis Lamp. Ann is survived by her daughter Kimberly Mescall, son Kevin Mescall, brother David (Ann) Lamp, sister Faye (Tom) DeCaro, and many cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and greatnieces.

Ann was born in Rye, NY on November 12, 1939, and graduated from Rye High School. She was a secretary and homemaker and lived in Danbury for over 50 years. She loved watching old movies and Broadway musicals, reading books and magazines, and spending time with her daughter’s dogs Fergus and Simon, and cat Heidi.

The family will receive friends in the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury on Thursday, January 20, 2022, between the hours of 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 8 Robinson Ave., Danbury with burial to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
