Peter Tomaino, Sr. January 11, 2022

Peter Tomaino, Sr., 77, of Summerville, SC, formerly Brookfield, CT, loving husband of Jackie (Kaufman) Tomaino, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2022.

Pete was born on May 27, 1944, in Danbury, CT; son to the late Anthony and Marietta (LoStocco) Tomaino. He was a lifelong car salesman, having worked at many Danbury-area dealerships before his retirement to South Carolina in 2016. Pete also shared his journey and wisdom with countless people young and old, as a 43-year friend of Bill W. As a 70+ year resident of the Danbury-area, Pete knew just about everyone, and always had a captivating story to tell, with his flair for the dramatic on full display.

Along with his wife, Pete is survived by his loving sister Elizabeth Robbins of Danbury. He was predeceased by his brother Anthony Tomaino, Jr. He will be greatly missed by his three sons Peter Tomaino,

Jr. (Danbury), Michael Tomaino and wife Angela (Carlsbad, CA), and Christopher Tomaino and wife Melissa (Toms River, NJ), his grandsons Michael Tomaino and Tyler Tomaino, greatgrandson Bryton Tomaino, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will also be missed by his countless friends in Connecticut and South Carolina.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held in Connecticut in the Spring to commemorate Pete and share his many stories. Details will be announced at a later date.
