The house is “Tribeca loftlike,” which Granger said in an email means that there is “lots of open space and industrial elements, such as exposed beams with prominent black steel fasteners [and] bolts.” She also noted that the house is unique due to its modern minimalist design in a neighborhood with more traditional architecture.
The average price of houses in Brookfield have increased in the past year, according to national real estate brokerage Redfin. Between March 2021 and March 2022, Redfin reports that the median sale price of a home jumped from $350,000 to $425,000, marking a 21.45 percent increase. However, the number of homes sold in Brookfield decreased from 73 to 49 in the same period, marking a 32.9 percent decrease. The median number of days that a home spent on the market dropped by one, from 63 to 62 days.
