⏩ A story on the Brookfield referendum that appeared on page A1 in the Friday, May 20 News-Times incorrectly described the office at Brookfield High School where the 2021 ballots were stored. According to Superintendent of Schools John Barile, “the closet [is] solely dedicated to the Registrar of Voters [and] has its own unique lock. School administrators have no access to the Registrar storage closet to ensure security for the integrity of referendums and elections.”
