Student among those picked for photo competition

Maggie Pouder, a freshman at New Milford High School tied for first place in ASAP!’s student photography contest.

Her two submissions were chosen into the group of 60 top photographs. There were 379 entries. The theme that photographs needed to relate visually was adventure. One of her photos was taken of a sheep when she qualified for Premier Showmanship in the Junior division at the Litchfield County 4-H Fair. Another photo was of a shoe, signifying her membership with the Danbury Athletic Youth Organization Track and Field team.
