Founders Hall to host ‘Light Fight’

Founders Hall is hosting the third annual “Light Fight,” a socially distant holiday fundraiser.

Ridgefield residents and business owners are invited to enter the contest by Nov. 21 and decorate the exterior of their locations with holiday lights no later than Dec. 4. Light displays will be available for the public to enjoy from their vehicles between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Dec. 9-18.

Viewers can then vote for their favorite(s) by making a donation to Founders Hall’s diverse program of social, educational and physical fitness programs for today’s active seniors. The contestant receiving the largest value in monetary donations will be declared the winner. Results will be announced on Dec. 19 at the winning location.

All Ridgefield residents and businesses are eligible to participate, if the location is easily viewed from the road. There is no fee to enter the contest or to view the holiday lights. A minimum of a $25 donation is required to vote on the Founders Hall website.
