Barbershop chorus to host holiday concerts

The Danbury Mad Hatter barbershop chorus will host two holiday concerts this season.

The first will be a matinee at the Danbury Church of Christ, 90 Clapboard Ridge Road, at 3 p.m. Dec. 3. The chorus and its quartets will sing favorite holiday tunes, along with a few surprises.

The Mad Hatters will team up with the Coastal Mix chorus of Bridgeport for a show at 7 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West Street, in Newtown.

Both shows will be family-friendly and free. Donations are accepted.
