Patricia Ann Alfaro (Beard)

It is with heavy hearts we announce that Patricia Ann Alfaro (Beard), passed away following a long and brave battle. A devoted wife and loving mother, Patricia died on November 15th in Boca Raton, FL, at the age of 83.

There are few words to express the deep pain and heart break of losing our beloved Mother. She will always be remembered for her genuine warmth and kindness, and a lifetime spent loving and caring for others.

Patricia was born August 10, 1939, in Danbury, CT. She grew up with her mother Mary Beard, grandparents Delia and Thomas Wimsey, her three brothers and her sister. She graduated from St. Vincent's College of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at Danbury Hospital. She married Dr. Pablo Alfaro in 1961, and they had three children.

Patricia was blessed with a large and loving family. She is survived by her son Charles and daughter-in-law Dawn of New Rochelle, NY; son Paul and daughter-inlaw Jean of New Rochelle, NY; daughter Jennifer of Boca Raton; her seven grandchildren William, Maximilian, Griffith, Antonio, Campbell, Luciano and Giavanna; her brother, James Beard of Danbury; and sister, Carol Beard of Honolulu, HI; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Patricia was loved by all and will be missed by many. She will be remembered during a funeral mass on December 3rd, 10 a.m. at St Joseph's Catholic Church - 8 Robinson Ave., Danbury, CT 06810.
