Pearl Harbor ceremony to be held
A ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7 to mark the anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor.
The city, surviving World War II veterans, the state and city’s veterans affairs departments, the Danbury Council of Veterans, and other veterans will honor the sacrifices of their forefathers and family members in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard. The attacks led the United States to enter World War II.
Speakers will include Mayor Dean Esposito, former Mayor Mark Boughton, and Lt. Col Thomas Saadi, CT Commissioner of Veterans Affairs.
