Patten Royal, Fairfield Prep: Ran an intercepti­on back 33 yards for a touchdown, the Jesuits’ third score in a 42-19 win over Trumbull.

Tyler Smith, Fairfield Prep: Junior was 17-for-25 for 221 yards and four touchdowns, three of them in the second half, in a 42-19 win over Trumbull.

James Wailgum, Greenwich: Six catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-0 win over Glastonbur­y.

Jack Wilson, Greenwich: Quarterbac­k ran for a touchdown and was 10-for-17 for 173 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-0 win over Glastonbur­y.

Ty Groff, New Canaan: Kicked field goals of 26, 23 and 33 yards, giving him 24 in his career to tie the state record. He also completed 14 of 21 passes for 115 yards in a 23-13 win over Cheshire.

Donte Kelly, Maloney: His 79-yard punt return broke a tie in the fourth quarter and sent the Spartans on the way to a 28-14 win over Shelton.

Aniston Marsh, Cheshire: Sophomore was 18-for-21 for 230 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-13 loss to New Canaan.

Rafael Rodriguez, Maloney: A 30-yard intercepti­on return finished off a 28-14 win over Shelton.

Class MM

Thomas Dreibholz, Killingly: Threw for five touchdowns and ran for one in a 54-51 win over Masuk.

Dylan Jackson, Masuk: Threw for three second-half touchdowns, each bringing the Panthers within three of Killingly, though Killingly held on for a 54-51 win.

Brendan Ryan, North Haven: Notched the game-clinching fourth-down sack that put away a 14-7 win over Wilton.

Camren Thompson, North Haven: Scored on fourth-and-goal from inches out with 8:41 to go, the difference in a 14-7 win over Wilton.

Class M

Josh Clement, Berlin: Credited with three sacks and scored the second touchdown of a 42-7 win over Rockville.

Mason DiMauro, Berlin: Had a 76-yard touchdown run to cap the scoring and returned an intercepti­on 42 yards in a 42-7 win over Rockville.

Jacob Staton, Notre Dame-West Haven: Ran for 247 yards and three touchdowns; had a 73-yard touchdown reception and a 75-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter of a 28-14 win over Law.

Cooper Torrey, Notre Dame-West Haven: Fourth-quarter intercepti­on in the end zone preserved a lead on the way to a 28-14 win over Law.

Cole Brisson, Cromwell-Portland: Completed 18 of 30 passes for 268 yards and four touchdowns, the last of which cut Barlow’s lead to 40-35, though that’s where the score wound up.

Nick Cox, Valley Regional/Old Lyme: Caught seven passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-14 win over Gilbert/ Northweste­rn/Housatonic.

Cole Peterson, Barlow: Ran for 212 yards and two touchdowns in a 40-35 win over Cromwell/Portland.

Jacob Rand, Valley Regional/Old Lyme: Ran for 105 yards on 13 carries, scoring the final touchdown in the fourth quarter of a 28-14 win over Gilbert/Northweste­rn/Housatonic.

Marquis Campbell, Holy Cross: Ran for 249 yards and three touchdowns on 44 carries, but Bloomfield’s many weapons were too much in a 45-21 Warhawks’ win.

David Cassetti, Ansonia: Ran for over 200 yards, with three second-half touchdowns helping to break open a 35-20 win over Woodland.

Darrien Foster, Bloomfield: Quarterbac­k was 24-for-30 for 439 yards and five touchdowns in a 45-21 win over Holy Cross.

Machi Ingram, Ansonia: Ran for a 77-yard touchdown early in a 35-20 win over Woodland.
