On 12/12/2019 Troopers arrested 24-year-old Justin Annogiyuk on a felony, no bail parole arrest warrant on the original charge of Sexual assault on a minor, second degree. Justin Annogiyuk was transported from Gambell to AMCC without incident.

On 12/12/2019 at 12 p.m., 55-year-old Lester was arrested in Gambell on a $50 bench warrant for failure to appear for change of plea, original charge Fail to Register as a Sex Offender 2 and Drunk Person on Licensed Premises. Lester Nupowhotuk was transported to AMCC.

On 12/12/2019 at 11:20 a.m., Troopers arrested 18-year-old Javen Slwooko on a $500 warrant for failure to appear for trial call original charge Assault in the fourth degree. Javen was transported from Gambell to AMCC without incident.

On 12/12/2019 at 10:05 a.m., Troopers contacted 22-year-old Jackson Mokiyuk in Savoonga. Mokiyuk was arrested on two $2,500 warrants for failure to remand on the original charges of Burglary 2, VCOR, and Drunk on Licensed Premise. Jackson was transported to Nome and remanded into AMCC.

On 12/12/2019 at 12:05 p.m., Troopers arrested 50-year-old Joseph Nupowhotuk on a $250 warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the original charge of Criminal Trespass 2. Lester was transported from Gambell to AMCC without incident.

On 12/14/2019 at 8 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of an assault in the village of Stebbins. Investigation resulted in the arrest of 32-yearold John Evan for Assault in the Third Degree, DV. John Evan was transported to AMCC without incident and held on no bail pending arraignments.
