Disturbance: On 03/04/24 at approximately 2:25 p.m., Alaska State Troopers and the Brevig based VPSO received a report of an assault. Charges are being referred to the Nome DAO for review and disposition.

Assault - DV: On 03/06/24 at approximately 3:45 p.m., AST received a report of an Assault - DV. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Jacob Saccheus, 24, of Elim for Domestic Violence Assault in the third degree.

Assault -DV: On 03/08/24 at approximately 06:16 a.m., AST received a report of an Assault - DV. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Francis Coffey- Milligrock, 36, for Assault 4 x 3 and Criminal Mischief.

Sexual Abuse of a Minor: On 03/08/24 at approximately 11:28 a.m., AST received a report of a Sexual Abuse of a Minor. The investigation is ongoing.

Sex Offense: On 03/08/24 at approximately 6:55 p.m., AST received a report of a Sexual
Offense. The investigation is ongoing.
Koyuk
Assault - DV: On 03/09/24 at approximately 1:12 p.m., AST received a report of an Assault - DV. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Steven Hoogendorn Sr., 52, of Koyuk for Assault 2 and Assault 4.
Unalakleet
DUI: On 03/09/24 at approximately 8:18 p.m., AST received a report of a person Driving Under the Influence. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Robert Brown, 39, of Big Lake for Driving Under the Influence and Driving While License Revoked.
Shishmaref
Assault: On 03/10/24 at approximately 11:27 a.m., AST received a report of an Assault - DV. Subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of Leslie Eutuk, 21, of Shismaref for Assault 4DV.
Koyuk
Snowmachine / Sled Team Collision: On March 12, at 7:30 pm, the AST were notified by the Koyuk VPSO that a snow machine had collided with an Iditarod team between the Koyuk and Elim checkpoints. The driver of the snowmachine fled the area; however, Troopers and VPSOs identified a person of interest based on the description of the snowmachine and information provided by the musher. The musher was not injured, and no dogs were killed in the collision; however, at least one dog was injured. The investigation is active and ongoing.
