BETHEL AME CHURCH SETS WOMEN’S DAY WORKSHOP, SERVICE

Bethel AME Church, 19 Academy St., will hold a Women’s Day Workshop from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The special guest will be the Rev. Valerie Brown Daye, speaking about “Your Season to Grow: You Will Grow What You Sow.”

“No matter your age or life situation, God’s desire is that you grow spiritually, emotionally, and that you grow closer to the purpose for which you were born,” the church said in announcing the events. “We’ll explore how to plant the right seeds to reap the bountiful harvest that God intends for you to have in this life.”

Bethel AME will also hold aWomen’s Day Worship Service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
