Connecticut phone book nears sunset

Frontier Communications took another step toward ending blanket distribution of telephone directories in Connecticut, curtailing as of May mass delivery to New London-area customers.

Norwalk-based Frontier informed the state Public Utilities Regulatory Authority the new policy is intended to reduce waste and cut costs.

Frontier maintains an online directory at frontier.com and will continue to provide directories to customers who request them.
