Westport brokerage partners with rescue groups for dog adoption event

William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty announced recently that the firm’s Westport brokerage has once again teamed up with several Connecticut rescue organizations to promote animal adoption, and help dogs find their “FurrrEver Home.”

The event will take place at the company’s Westport brokerage, located at 199 Post Road East, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.

All adoptable dogs were rescued from a Connecticut municipal animal control facility or taken into their care after being surrendered by a local resident. Participating groups and organizations include Westport Anithe

There is no cost to attend event however donations of any size are encouraged and greatly appreciated. Refreshments will be served, and there will also be incredible door prizes.

The event will be a “meet and greet,” with attendees having the opportunity to interact with some of the dogs up for adoption, but it will not be hosting on-site adoptions. Adoption applications and information will be available.
