The Norwalk Hour

Stephanie Thomas is ‘a woman for our time’

-

It may not be once in a lifetime, but it is a rare occasion when we meet a candidate with the energy, intelligence and knowledge of Stephanie Thomas. Stephanie is running for a seat in the Connecticut State Legislature in the 143rd District. She is in contact with voters on a daily basis as she knocks on doors, one at a time. Her district encompasses the eastern part of Norwalk, a small sliver of Westport and a large area of Wilton.

I have campaigned with her as she meets the voters. People are impressed because she is both listening to their concerns as well as offering them genuine reasons to make a change this year. Connecticut needs women legislators who don’t just go along. We actually need more thoughtful people who examine the facts, listen to the electorate and know how to get things done.

Stephanie is a doer. She came from a poor family but was encouraged to always strive for excellence and she does this every day. She has her own business. She is a professional who fund raises for large non-profit organizations. Her business savvy and empathy for the needy are the secrets to her success. These are the very qualities that will make her a great representative.

A number of years ago Stephanie and her husband, Greg Parker, chose Norwalk as their home and love being a part of this community. Residents of the 143rd owe it to themselves to take a close look at this amazing candidate. She is a woman for our time. #VoteStephanie Donna I. King Norwalk
