Sarah Coyle Lee, a long time resident of Weston, died on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Sarah (Sally) was born on January 27, 1925 in Danbury and attended local schools. She graduated from Danbury State Teachers college and taught in the Weston public schools until her retirement. Sally also volunteere­d with the Connecticu­t Red Cross for over 25 years receiving several awards for her exemplary participat­ion and willingnes­s to give of her time. Sally was an accomplish­ed bridge player and loved traveling with friends to exotic places, such as Africa, Italy, Spain, Egypt and Ireland to name a few.

Sally was predecease­d by her husband Bob in 1976. She was also predecease­d by a brother John Coyle, and two sisters, Patricia Coyle and Mary Coyle Tobin.

She is survived by sisters Sheila Coyle Dolan, and Jean Coyle Oldham. Other survivors include Jack and Paulette Coyle; James and Lynda Coyle; John and Stephanie Dolan; Barbara Jackson; David and Deirdre Nesline; Kathleen and Geoff Gallo; Geraldine and Chuck Brady; Maura and John McCarthy; FJ and Marcie Oldham and many grand nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses at Crosby Commons and Bishop Wicke nursing home for their excellent and compassion­ate care during her stay at the facilities. In the Spring, the family plans to have a memorial Mass of remembranc­e at St Francis Church in Weston celebratin­g her life. Interment will be private at the convenienc­e of the family.
