Calvin Smith, Darien: Shot a school record 5-under-par 31 at Tashua Knolls GC to help the Blue Wave beat St. Joseph 144170.

Chris Fosdick, Xavier: Shot 34 at Portland GC to help Xavier beat both Cheshire and Sheehan. Added a 35 at Portland in a loss to Notre Dame-West Haven and another 35 at Brooklawn CC in a loss to Fairfield Prep.

Jackson Fretty and William Nail, Greenwich: Both shot 36 at Burning Tree CC as Greenwich beat Staples.

Tommy Rosati, Notre Dame-West Haven: Made four birdies to post a 2-under 68 to earn medalist honors at the 2019 Avon Invitation­al at Blue Fox Run GC. Also shot 35 at Portland GC as Notre Dame beat Xavier for the first time in 15 seasons at the Portland GC course.

Ben James, Hamden Hall: Fired a 35 at Sleepy Hollow CC to help Hamden Hall sweep Chase Collegiate and Hackley.

Jack McDermott, Northwest Catholic: A 37 at Wampanoag CC helped McDermott earn medalist laurels and helped Northwest Catholic top Conard.

Alex Aurora, Hamden: Shot 36 at Laurel View CC in the Green Dragons’ win over Hand.

Bryce Cote, Portland: Shot a 35 at Portland GC in Portland’s win over Coventry and Haddam-Killingwor­th.

Maryanne Grace, Greenwich Academy girls: Eighth-grader had a hole-in-one on the ninth hole at Wyantenuck CC in her round of 74 at the NEPSAC championsh­ip meet.

Tess Csejka, Amity girls: Her 37 at Great River GC was good enough to help the Spartans top Sacred Heart Academy.

Megan Mitchell, New Canaan girls: Shot a 37 at Tashua Knolls GC as the Rams remained undefeated by beating Trumbull.
