Norwalk Realtor is an expert in high-end, waterfront properties

Known as one of Norwalk’s go-to Realtors, Anne Papastathis has not just been on the job for 34 years, she has excelled at it.

“I pretty much have a very impressive track record in Norwalk. I was the top producer in the whole town for many years,” said Papastathis, who began her real estate career with a small company for two years before moving over to William Raveis Real Estate in 1987. “I also did a lot of new construction and worked with many of the top builders and I know the town very well.”

A native of Greece, Papastathis moved to Stamford when she was six years old and moved to Norwalk in 1969.

Formerly a Norwalk high school English teacher, Papastathis said she “always had an interest in real estate. I love dealing with people and am a good communicator.”

Papastathis said those looking to buy and or sell should contact her because “of my experience and honesty.”

That experience and honesty has led Papastathis to be a premier Realtor for those looking to move into a high-end or waterfront property.

“It’s a unique product and the clientele are more demanding,” she said, adding. “They want a Realtor who knows the market well. They want someone with advice they can trust and confidence they can rely on. They also want to feel confident they are not overpaying for the product they are buying.”

Norwalk, Papastathis said, is a quintessential New England community.

“Norwalk has a lot of beautiful areas,” said Papastathis, who said 75 percent of her business is done in her home base of Norwalk. “It has one of the longest coastlines in the state and it’s really a small slice of America. I also like the culture the city offers, as well as the schools.”

Working for William Raveis, she said, has made her job that much easier.

“Raveis is the innovator in the business,” she said. “They are constantly striving to be the best from providing agents with a nice atmosphere where they can work to providing them with the best marketing materials.”

Papastathis enjoys boating, traveling and is a gourmet and enjoys entertaining.
