Season 2 of home makeover show ‘Life on Mar’s’ streaming on Amazon
WESTPORT — Season 2 of the Emmy-nominated series “Life On Mar’s: The Home Makeover Show,” will be available on Amazon Prime Video’s global streaming video service beginning in April 2019.
Created and hosted by Mar Jennings, frequently referred to as America’s Top Lifestyle Expert, it is the first home makeover series filmed in Connecticut.
This second season has a twist: it tracks the renovation and restoration of all the homes on Mar’s very own charming street in downtown Westport — including his own.
Episodes follow Jennings’ design direction, humor and signature method while highlighting local resources and his talented team. Homes featured run the design gamut from a 1800s farmhouse to a mid-century bungalow to a 1990s stacked colonial. By season’s end, the neighborhood is transformed.

Jennings’ home and garden design expertise make him unique in the television arena — both as an on-camera personality and real-world, hands-on designer. The series highlights Jennings’ own ingenious design principles within the renovation.

Each episode features new design challenges in a new home. Viewers become acquainted with each home’s history, get to know the homeowners and follow offsite trips for inspiration.
Episodes include Jennings divulging details of the completed transformations and end with a final reveal.
Directed by Emmy-winning director Christopher Panton and created by Mar Jennings, seasons 1 and 2 first aired on ABC’s WTNH receiving overwhelmingly positive response from viewers and critical acclaim, earning a total of five Emmy nominations.
The series is produced by S&J Multimedia LCC of Westport, and is currently in production on season three, which is focused around a new group of homes. It is set to air beginning fall 2019.
Season three’s Amazon Prime Video streaming debut date is to be announced.
