UNITED CHURCH OF ROWAYTON PLANS TAG SALE

A Giant Tag Sale will be held at The United Church of Rowayton on Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. Early birds can opt to pay $10 for admission at 8:30 a.m. All proceeds benefit the church and outreach programs, locally and globally.

The Meeting House, upstairs and downstairs, is expected to be overflowing into two outdoor tents. For sale will be artwork, jewelry, furnishings, linens, small appliances, china, glassware, house wares, garden tools, sporting equipment, bikes, electronics, toys and other treasures. It also will offer upscale gently worn women’s designer clothing and accessories.

The church is seeking donations of furniture (not upholstered), sporting goods, garden equipment, linens, china, glassware, small appliances, televisions (flatscreen only), bric-a-brac, housewares, jewelry, handbags, baby equipment or toys, gently worn ladies designer spring or summer clothing. New merchandise is always welcome. Not accepted are air conditioners/dehumidifiers, major appliances, books, records, magazines, computers or peripherals, holiday items, mattresses/ boxsprings, exercise machines, weights and weight benches, skis or ski boots, upholstered or metal office furniture, building materials, stuffed animals, board games and jigsaw puzzles.

To donate, bring items to the Church Meeting House, 210 Rowayton Ave, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 27 or 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. May 28 and 29.
