AB InBev buys craft breweries

AnheuserBu­sch InBev is acquiring full control of the Portland, Ore.based Craft Brew Alliance, in a deal valued at $320 million.

AB InBev already owned more than 30 percent of the stock of the Craft Brew Alliance, which was created in 2008 and manages beer brands including Cisco, Kona, Omission and Redhook.

AB InBev had already invested $130 million in a Brewers Collective, which includes Blue Point and Goose Island beers. ABInBev also owns Bon & Viv Spiked Seltzer, which was founded in Norwalk.
