Top performers

Donovan Clingan, Bristol Central: Had a triple-double (19 points, 22 rebounds and a school-record 16 blocked shots) in an 80-50 win over Middletown. The previous record of 14 was also Clingan’s record, set against Middletown in 2020.

Dominick Dao, Terryville: Had 35 points in Terryville’s 57-42 victory over East Granby.

Keyshawn Mitchell, Capital Prep: Pulled down 30 rebounds in Capital Prep’s 75-66 win over Achievemen­t First. That broke the school record of 28 held by Andre Drummond in 2009. Mitchell also had 29 points and 22 rebounds in Capital Prep’s 87-60 win over Aerospace.

Loudan Chupas, Hale-Ray: Scored 32 points in Hale-Ray’s 75-67 victory over Morgan and 33 points in the Little Noises’ 66-51 win over North Branford.

Deivone Tanksley and Rodrick Pearson, Achievemen­t First: Tanksley had 35 points and Pearson had a triple-double (10 points, 23 rebounds, 10 blocks) in Achievemen­t First’s 74-39 win over East Hampton.

Elijah Wilborn, Middletown:

Grabbed 28 rebounds in the Blue

Dragons’ 48-43 win over Prince Tech.

Ismael Castillo, Platt Tech: Had a triple-double (14 points, 18 rebounds, 10 blocks) in the Panthers’ 48-47 victory over Whitney Tech.

Tra’shawn Reynolds, Ansonia: Poured in 39 points for the Chargers in a 81-69 loss to WCA. Reynolds added 29 points in a 76-50 win over Watertown.

Gianluca Albert, Cromwell: Scored 32 points in the Panthers’ 71-47 win over Old Saybrook.

Anthony Nimani, Platt: His 30 points included the game-winning, 3-point shot with 1.4 seconds left to help the Panthers beat Avon 65-64.

Charlie Coffey, Wamogo: Buzzerbeat­ing jump shot helped Wamogo edge Litchfield 46-45.

Lenny Ialeggio, Law: Scored a career-high 29 points in Law’s 52-43 win over Foran.

Games to watch

Norwich Free Academy at St. Bernard, Tuesday, 7 p.m.: Easily St. Bernard’s biggest week of the season. Facing the ECC’s best team here, then traveling to the X to face Waterford in a game that should determine the league’s Division II champion.

Hillhouse at New London, Thursday, 5:45 p.m.: Postponed from Dec. 30, this is thr first time these two perennial stalwarts have squared off since December of 2010 whrn Hillhouse was able to knock off Kris Dunn and the Whalers..

Kolbe Cathedral at Notre DameFairfi­eld, Friday, 7 p.m.: The Lancers gave the undefeated Cougars their toughest game at home. Now have the rematch — the one that counts in the SWC standings — at Sister Marion Reilly Auditorium.

Wilbur Cross at Notre Dame-West Haven, Friday, 7 p.m.: Notre Dame came from behind in the second half on the road to remain undefeated. Now at the friendly confines at Alumni Hall, Wilbur Cross will need play defense like it did against Hillhouse to pull off the win.

East Catholic at RHAM, Monday, 7 p.m.:

Is RHAM for real? The Sachems have won their first 11 games. This game is a big step up for them.

Wilbur Cross at Fairfield Prep, Monday, 7 p.m.:

Prep won at Cross 83-79 earlier this month. Middle of a brutal stretch for Cross with Bristol Central coming to New Haven on Feb. 2.
