Chrisner E. Milbin

August 9, 1969-August 21, 2022

-

On Sunday, August 21, 2022, Chrisner E. Milbin, a gentle giant, went to be with the Lord.

Born August 9, 1969, Chris had, only a few weeks earlier, celebrated his 53rd birthday. And, the day before his passing, on August 20th, he and his wife Marjorie had just returned from a summer cruise and was already planning another one to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary in December of this year.

Chris died unexpectedly and much too soon but he left this world a loved man -- a testament of the kind of husband, father, brother, and friend he was.

A doting family man, Chris was inseparable from his wife and love of his life, Marjorie. He also adored his two children, Stacey, “daddy’s little girl”, and CJ, his son and faithful travel companion.

For Marjorie, he would do anything. He cherished her and best of all, led her to Christ; an act that not only changed her life but also made her the woman she is today. Most recently, after the kids had left for college, Chris resolved to travel and create new memories with Marjo. They had just started enjoying this season of their lives.

To Stacey and CJ, he was an extraordinary man and father. He was gentle, genuine, loving, truthful, hardworking, and protective. He was outgoing, a people person who was always present when needed.

Chris worked as an HVAC technician for decades and more than a way to earn a living, his work was an avenue for him to demonstrate unparalleled generosity. He fixed appliances free for family and friends. One only had to ask, for him to make time to stop by for a quick diagnosis and repair.

Above all, Chrisner was a man of God whose faith increasingly deepened through the years and which he lived out as a faithful servant and in the way he loved others. He served in various leadership capacities at his church and made time to visit the sick, especially the elderly.

He faithfully showed up for his overall family and enjoyed getting together to celebrate and to support others in their various seasons of life. He modeled God’s love well to his wife, his children, and his community.

Chrisner’s life lives on through his wife of 30 years, Marjorie Milbin, their daughter Stacey Milbin and son, CJ (Ricardo) Milbin. He is also survived by his Dad, Enol Milbin, his brother Frantz Milbin, his Sister Judith Milbin-Buissereth, all of Stamford, CT; his brother Jean-Baptiste Milbin of Haiti, his God-Mother, Jacline Pierre of Naples, FL; a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins and countless of friends who are like brothers and sisters to him.

He was preceded in death by his precious mother, Christine Milbin.
