Thomas T. Burns, 58, beloved husband of Kim (Gerardi) Burns for almost 30 years, passed away peacefully, reuniting with his daughter, Angel, on Sunday, November 20, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Rochelle, NY, he was the son of Elisabeth O'Neill and Joseph Burns.

Tommy was an amazing husband, heroic father, extraordinary brother and brother-in-law, adoring son and son-in-law, fun uncle and devoted friend. He was a selfless free spirit, steadfast, helpful and full of life. He was wholeheartedly dedicated to his family, his boys were “his world”. He attended and filmed every basketball game and was a mentor and coach to not only his boys, but their teammates as well. Tommy embraced his parents-inlaws, Bart and “Cookie,” as parents of his own, always enjoying family gatherings. He had a special place in his heart for his brothers-in-law, Danny, Bart Jr. and Rich. He loved and appreciated his loyal staff and coworkers, Lizzie and Matt, and a special thanks to Rich, for honoring his promises and his continued dedication to the legacy of Tommy and Artech Church Interiors. As an entrepreneur and owner of Artech, Tommy fulfilled his passion of restoring houses of worship.

In addition to his loving wife, “Kimmer,” he is survived by their four boys, Dylan and his girlfriend, Cate Wyman, Kyle, Connor and Jake Burns; his mother, Elisabeth O'Neill of FL; two sisters, Barb Cunningham and Karen Burns; four brothers, Donny (Kathy) Burns, Jimmy Burns, Billy Burns and Bob Gibson; mother and father-in-law, Bart Sr. and Cookie Gerardi; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rich Cunningham, Danny Gerardi, Bart Gerardi Jr., Sara Gerardi and Frinee Gerardi; loving nieces and nephews, James and Frianna Gerardi, Ryan, Michael and Matthew Cunningham, and Kevin and Matthew Burns, whom Tommy adored. His closest and dearest friends would say, “to know him was to love him.”
