TOP PERFORMERS Emmy Asplund, Joel Barlow:

The Falcons’ senior setter was named the Class L tournament MVP after Barlow defeated Bristol Central 3-0 in the final. She had a combined 65 assists, 23 digs, six blocks and nine kills in the semifinal and final.

Maggie Carley, Trumbull:

The UConn-bound senior setter had 45 assists. Seven digs, 3 kills, four aces and four blocks in the Eagles’ 3-1 win over Amity in the Class LL semifinals. She added Carley 16 assists, 11 digs, and four aces in a loss to Darien in the final.

Katherine Czerkawski, Joel Barlow:

Czerkawski, a senior, had a double-double with 14 kills and 14 digs in Barlow’s 3-0 win in the Class L title game. She also had nine kills, nine digs and two aces in a semifinal shutout of Woodstock Academy.

Olivia DeMartino, East Hampton:

The sophomore libero racked up a combined 53 digs in East Hampton’s last two games, including 36 in the Bellringer­s’ final win over Hale Ray.

Lani Fecho, RHAM: The junior had a double-double with 17 kills and 13 digs in the Class M final, and nine kills, 13 digs, two aces, and one block in the semifinals.

Leilani Gillespie, Darien: The senior had a combined 17 kills, four aces, two blocks, and 15 digs in Darien’s Class LL semifinal and final wins. The Wave was unbeaten and captured its first state championsh­ip since 2014..

Ally Hadley, RHAM: The senior was named the MVP of

the Class M tournament after the Raptors’ defeated Woodland 3-0 in the final. She had 12 kills and 16 digs in the final, and 10 kills, eight digs, three aces and one blocks in a shutout win over Seymour in the semifinals.

Aubrey Moore, Darien: The junior setter was named the Class LL tournament MVP after putting up 30 assists, with five digs, two kills and one ace in the Wave’s 3-0 win over Trumbull in the final. She also had 28 assists, four aces and five digs in a semifinal shutout of Southingto­n.

Jordan Murphy, East Hampton:

The senior was named the MVP of the CIAC Class S tournament after the Bellringer­s defeated Hale Ray 3-2 in the final. She had 14 kills, 23 digs and two blocks in the final, and 21 kills, 15 digs and five aces in a five-set

semifinal win over Griswold.

Alex Rivera, Bristol Central:

The Rams’ junior setter had a combined 66 assists and 27 digs in the Class L semifinals and final. That included 43 assists and 17 digs in a 3-1 semifinal win over East Lyme.

Camdyn Roth, Trumbull: The senior had a double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs, also adding two aces, in a 3-1 Class LL semifinal victory over Amity.

Samantha Sklenka, Bristol Central:

The senior libero had 22 digs in the Rams’ four-set win over East Lyme in the Class L semifinals, and 26 digs in a 3-0 loss to Joel Barlow in the final.

Chelsea Woods, East Hampton: The junior setter collected 77 assists and 38 digs in the Bellringer­s’ five-set wins in the Class S semifinals and final.
