Walled Lake Western wins LVC title

WALLED LAKE WESTERN 50, SOUTH LYON 32
The Walled Lake Western girls basketball team locked up the Lakes Valley Conference title on Friday with a 50-32 victory at South Lyon.
Jenna Galecki had 21 points to lead the Warriors in the victory, while Riley Dillon scored 12 and Lia Krawiec had 11.
South Lyon was led by Rhianna Schermerhorn, who had 13 points. Megan MacDonald scored eight.

Lakeland improves 14-5 overall, 13-2 in the LVC. SLE falls to 12- 6, 8-6.
The Eagles went on the road and wrapped up their seventh season going undefeated in conference play.
The Eagles were led by Noah Rheker with 23 points and Da’Jion Humphrey with 21 points. Also reaching double figures were Tarron Carter with 15 points and Malcolm King with 13 points.
The Eagles improve to 15-3 overall, 10-0 in the MIAC and will travel to Dearborn Divine Child on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
