Girls basketball STONEY CREEK 54, LAKE ORION 36

The Stoney Creek girls basketball team had 20 points and nine rebounds from Mia Carson to lead it to a 54-36 win over Lake Orion on Thursday night.

Sarah LaPrairie added 13 points for the Cougars, while Sydney LaPrairie had nine points.

CLAWSON 43, HAZEL PARK 38

Clawson fought off Hazel Park for a 43-38 win over Hazel Park on Thursday night.

Abbey Lodato had 16 points and seven steals to lead the Trojans. Natalie Champine added eight points and five rebounds.

BERKLEY 51, TROY 33

The Troy girls basketball team dropped a 51-33 decision to Berkley on Thursday night.

Charlotte Sobotka had 11 points to lead the Colts, while Kendal Zeiter had nine.

BISHOP FOLEY 72, FERNDALE 18

Madison Heights Bishop Foley rolled to a win over Ferndale on Wednesday night.

Ryan Moorer and Abby Pasinos each had 14 points to lead the Ventures, while Melanie Moore scored 13.

Boys basketball SHRINE 52, CLAWSON 39

The Royal Oak Shrine boys basketball team picked up a 52-39 win over Clawson on Wednesday night.

Stephen Ruhle had 23 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks to lead Shrine in the win, while Conor Benson had 12 points.

Colin Snyder had 13 points to lead the Trojans, while Ben Fisher had 11 points.

MILFORD 64, SALEM 59, OT

The Milford boys basketball team held off Salem for a 64-59 OT win on Wednesday night.

Sam Lewis scored 32 points and added seven rebounds to lead the Mavericks in the opener. Luke Jaklic added 11 points.

WALLED LAKE NORTHERN 74, LIGGETT 33

The Walled Lake Northern boys basketball team ran past University Liggett on Wednesday night, 74-33.

Bobby McGuire led a balanced Knights’ offense with 13 points, while Johnny Archer scored 11 and Jon Pawl had 10.

ROCHESTER ADAMS 61, SWARTZ CREEK 31

Rochester Adams nearly doubled up Swartz Creek on Wednesday night for a 61-31 victory.

Justice Mims had 19 points to lead the Highlanders in the win, while Gunner Walters tallied 12 points and five assists.

LAKELAND 4, WALLED LAKE WESTERN 1

The Lakeland hockey team picked up a 4-1 win over Walled Lake Western on Thursday night.

Fisher Christian, Mitchell Beller, Spencer Pickett, and Kyle Sierota each scored for the Eagles while Luke Weinberger had a pair of assists. Caden Pierson made 25 saves in net for Lakeland.
