William Randall Sinischo, 92, of Lapon eer, passed away November 18, 2021. Known affectiona­tely as “Lovely Bill” or “LB,” he was born on August 2, 1929, in Deand troit, MI, to William Lydia Sinischo. After graduating from Valparaiso University with a degree in zoology, LB trained stateside in the U.S. Army, Artillery Branch, at Fort Sill in Oklahoma from 19521954. He was honorably discharged and received

the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal during his service. Later, LB met and married Sandra Perkins, whom he lovingly referred to as the “Dragon Lady,” a beautiful character from a 1930s and 1940s comic book. They were married 46 years and fortunate to make their home and

raise their two daughters in Pleasant Ridge. LB had a strong Lutheran faith and loved reading, history, art, and the theater. Acting was his passion and selling steel was his profession. Over the years, he

LB lived big and did things his way, including living on his own and driving a Chevy Camaro until his death. LB is survived by his daughters Joy Ellen (the late Charles) Buhagiar, Susan Cullen, Cara (Pat) O’Neill and Alexandra (Darren) Clark; son, Randy; brother, Timothy; sister, Sandra Ritter; and grandchild­ren Joy, Terrence, Cory, Christian, RaCoochel, Connor, Aidan, Owen, Quinn, Isabelle, per, and Wyatt. He is also survived by six greatgrand­children and several nieces and nephews. LB was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra, his parents, and brother, Bobby. A celebratio­n of LB’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 28 at 11 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 1800 W. Maple Rd., Birmingham. Visitation will be held from 10
