He graduated from Clawson High School in 1990 lettering in three varsity sports: football, wrestling & track. He continued his formal education at Northern Michigan University, where his love of the land was found - camping, fishing, hunting. He spent summers in his youth fishing on Lake Huron- Port Sanilac, MI. Black bear hunting trips to Montana & ND followed as interest grew with the rifle & bow. In FL, spent countless hours camping & fishing. An avid gunsmith & NRA member, he was extremely proficient with pistol shooting & made his own bullets. He had a lengthy career in autobody as a collision technician In Ann Arbor, MI maintaining the highest of industry stds & integrity. An "old-soul" showing a deep compassion for people, animals & love of music, he will be greatly missed but always in our hearts and minds. Chris is survived by his loving siblings; Russell Darnell, Linda Hernandez, Eva Darnell-Peppers, Rolanda Darnell Avery, Kevin Darnell, Tim Hanson & Tracy Chirikas (Hanson); nieces &nephews; Da-vid & Michael Darnell, Krystal Hendricks-Denfip, Nicole Lombardi, Kenny, Lee & Kevin Hernandez, Ricky & Ryan Avery, Mitchell, Corey & Tommy Darnell; great nephew &niece Carson & Kaylyn Denfip; extended family and friends. Memorial Services/ Celebration of Life for Christopher are to be determined.
