SR. ENGINEER – Behavior and Motion Planning. Troy, MI. Design and develop real-time algorithms for autonomous driving features including Curve Speed Control, Intelligent Speed Control, Lane Change Threat Assessment, Trajectory Safety Validator for Behavior and Motion Planning for L2 and L3 Systems. Communicate, coordinate, and align interfaces with perception and controls teams. Conduct algorithm testing and data analysis in simulation environments and in-vehicle testing. Perform issue resolution to ensure algorithms meet OEM requirements and KPIs. Ensure ASPICE development compliance. Requires Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Systems Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering and one year of experience with configuring/ calibrating automotive ADAS sensors, analyzing CAN data, integrating software components into ADAS master models, modifying algorithms for issue resolution, CANalyzer, MATLAB/Simulink and dSPACE/ControlDesk. Troy, MI. Design, develop, and test embedded microprocessor software in C. Develop and simulate algorithms using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow. Generate code using real-time workshop autocoding. Integrate autocode and manual code. Program in Embedded C for 32-bit microprocessors. Support analysis, design, review, and testing activities. Perform HiL bench testing. Simulate Autonomous vehicle scenarios. Understand CAN network and communication protocols. Work with systems and software engineers to develop new technologies and products. Utilize Vector AUTOSAR tool chain and Vector testing tools. Provide configuration management support. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering and four years of experience with developing and performing software test procedures, analyzing customer requirements, translating customer requirements into engineering requirements, developing algorithms for vehicle subsystems, MATLAB/Simulink, Embedded C, and CAN.
