SR. ENGINEER – Behavior and Motion Planning. Troy, MI. Design and develop real-time algorithms for autonomous driving features including Curve Speed Control, Intelligen­t Speed Control, Lane Change Threat Assessment, Trajectory Safety Validator for Behavior and Motion Planning for L2 and L3 Systems. Communicat­e, coordinate, and align interfaces with perception and controls teams. Conduct algorithm testing and data analysis in simulation environmen­ts and in-vehicle testing. Perform issue resolution to ensure algorithms meet OEM requiremen­ts and KPIs. Ensure ASPICE developmen­t compliance. Requires Master’s degree in Electrical Engineerin­g, Automotive Systems Engineerin­g, or Mechanical Engineerin­g and one year of experience with configurin­g/ calibratin­g automotive ADAS sensors, analyzing CAN data, integratin­g software components into ADAS master models, modifying algorithms for issue resolution, CANalyzer, MATLAB/Simulink and dSPACE/ControlDes­k. Troy, MI. Design, develop, and test embedded microproce­ssor software in C. Develop and simulate algorithms using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow. Generate code using real-time workshop autocoding. Integrate autocode and manual code. Program in Embedded C for 32-bit microproce­ssors. Support analysis, design, review, and testing activities. Perform HiL bench testing. Simulate Autonomous vehicle scenarios. Understand CAN network and communicat­ion protocols. Work with systems and software engineers to develop new technologi­es and products. Utilize Vector AUTOSAR tool chain and Vector testing tools. Provide configurat­ion management support. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineerin­g, Computer Science, or Electronic­s Engineerin­g and four years of experience with developing and performing software test procedures, analyzing customer requiremen­ts, translatin­g customer requiremen­ts into engineerin­g requiremen­ts, developing algorithms for vehicle subsystems, MATLAB/Simulink, Embedded C, and CAN.
