Free flu shots avail­able

The Ok­la­homa Car­ing vans will of­fer flu shots around the Ok­la­homa City area this month.

The shots are avail­able for chil­dren up to 18 who are unin­sured, el­i­gi­ble for Med­ic­aid or Amer­i­can In­dian. Flu shots are rec­om­mended for any­one older than six months.

Up­com­ing lo­ca­tions are:

• Ci­ti­zen Potawatomi Na­tion WIC of­fice, 1575 S Gor­don Cooper, Shawnee, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mon­day.

• Ci­ti­zen Potawatomi Na­tion WIC of­fice, 5401 S West­ern, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 13.

• Christ Com­mu­nity Health Coali­tion, 101 SW 25, 4-6 p.m. Nov. 13.

• WCD WIC of­fice, 7001 S West­ern, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 14.

• Latino Com­mu­nity Devel­op­ment Agency, 420 SW 10, 8:30 a.m. to noon Nov. 15.

• Ci­ti­zen Potawatomi Na­tion WIC of­fice, 2305 N Merid­ian, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 15.

Le­gal guardians must come along to present their chil­dren’s shot records and fill out pa­per­work.
