| STEPHEN CLARK BATTLES CARROLL, HAMMONDS IN OKLAHOMA’S 101-95 VICTORY

HIGH SCHOOLS scoring punch to the Cowboys next season, had a rough night all the way around.

Aside from his hard fall on the foul by Carroll, Clark was 0-of-7 from 3point range, though he added six rebounds and a pair of assists. But in the first half after a physical play in the lane, Clark vomited on the court, requiring the game to be halted for a few minutes.

Clark has already been in Stillwater for two weeks and is excited about what’s ahead for the Cowboy program.

“We’ve been together in Stillwater already. Being freshmen, we’ve got to stick together,” Clark said. “We’re already building a great relationship.

“We have a lot of returning players (at OSU). It’s great having those guys back, coming off the year they had, putting Oklahoma State back on the map. Hopefully the young players can keep it going.”

Carroll and Hammonds both said the chance to play in an all-star game an hour away from their new home in Stillwater — in front of several Cowboy fans — drew them to the Faith 7 invitation.

“This was a chance to showcase my skills to the citizens of Oklahoma,” Hammonds said. “We wanted to let them know what’s coming for Oklahoma State.”
