Four fatalities reported in Oklahoma road wrecks
Four people died in accidents on Oklahoma roads, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Larry Barrett, 61, of Zeeland, Mich.
A Michigan man was killed in a Thursday collision, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Barrett was killed in a crash about 10:10 a.m. Thursday in the westbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike near Chandler, the highway patrol said.
Barrett was a passenger in a tractor-trailer driven by Rodger Wylie, 48, of Grand Rapids, Mich. Wylie was taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City with multiple internal and external injuries.
Another tractor-trailer involved in the crash was driven by Ronald Ray Reed, 61, of Tulsa. He suf- fered minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene.
The patrol reports traffic had been slowed due to debris in the roadway. The tractor-trailer driven by Reed slowed down and the tractor-trailer driven by Wylie failed to slow down and hit Reed’s rig.
Seat belts were in use by everyone except Barrett, the patrol reported.

A portion of the Will Rogers Turnpike was closed Friday in Mayes County due to a fatal crash. The westbound lanes were closed about 5 a.m. in a construction area about a mile west of Adair, troopers said.
Kyle Adam Reese, 25, Mannford
A Mannford man died in a fatal crash Thursday night in Creek County, the highway patrol said.
Reese died at the scene of a crash about 10:55 p.m. Thursday on 41st Street near Evans Road near Mannford, the patrol reports.
Reese was the driver of a car that was westbound on 41st Street when he failed to negotiate a curve and hit a tree. The car overturned. Passenger Josh Fort, 33, of Mannford, was taken to a Tulsa hospital with internal trunk injuries.
Seat belts were not in use, the patrol reported.
Gary Alan Frederick, 71, Oklahoma City
An Oklahoma City man died after experiencing a medical incident while driving, troopers said. Frederick was driving in the parking lot of a convenience store about 1:45 p.m. Friday about a half mile southwest of Cleora when he died, troopers said. The car rolled into an adjacent building.
