Junior quarterbac­k tossed seven touchdown passes to lead third-ranked Cashion to easy 56-6 victory over Yale in the Wildcats’ season opener.

Harman was 26 of 33 for 389 yards, including tossing for 310 yards in the first half when Cashion built a 42-0 halftime lead. Harman also threw five of his seven scoring strikes in the first half. caught three touchdown passes from

ROCKETS BLAST CROOKED OAK

scored three touchdowns as Mount St. Mary rolled over Crooked Oak, 71-0, on Friday night.

Robinson tallied three of the Rockets’ first four touchdowns, opening the scoring with a 54-yard punt return. Later in the first half, he caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from and then added a 5-yard scoring run.

Tipton also had a 15-yard touchdown run as Mount St. Mary built a 28-0 lead on its way to a 42-0 advantage at halftime. Senior running back had 103 yards rushing on just four carries and one score.

HALSTEAD CARRIES MINCO PAST DIBBLE

rushed for three touchdowns and returned an intercepti­on for another score as Minco downed Dibble, 38-0.

The junior tailback had 25 carries for 101 yards and playing linebacker returned a 49-yard intercepti­on for Minco’s first score of the game. Minco was without starting senior quarterbac­k who missed the game with an injury. Junior

filled in and had six carries for 45 yards with two successful two-point conversion runs.

Williams was 4-of-8 passing for 98 yards with one intercepti­on. Dibble never threatened to score against Minco’s first defensive unit.

STANDLEE HAS BIG NIGHT FOR MEEKER

Jake Standlee

Senior running back rushed for 197 yards and three touchdowns to lead Meeker past Prague, 28-19.

Standlee scored the game-winning touchdown with a 72-yard romp in the third quarter. Standlee, who also completed a 41-yard pass in the game, also had touchdown runs of 4 and 3 yards.

Meeker had 323 rushing yards in the game while Prague had 71.

MARTIN, INGRAHAM FUEL HARRAH

Grant Martin

Senior running back rushed for 170 yards on 33 carries and scored two touchdowns to lead Harrah to a 27-21 victory over Seminole Friday night.

Martin scored the first two touchdowns of the game on runs of 33 and 1 yards. Quarterbac­k also scored twice for the Panthers on touchdown runs of 60 and 1 yards.

Harrah led 27-7 after three quarters.

Quarterbac­k rushed for two scores and threw two touchdowns to lead Choctaw past Sapulpa, 38-12, Friday night.

Through the air, Hunt was 10 of 16 for 204 yards with a 65-yard touchdown pass to and a 42-yard scoring strike to Hunt also had scoring runs of 3 and 42 yards.

Wide receiver had two catches for a total of 90 yards to lead the Panthers in receiving.

Choctaw seized control of the game with a 21-point second quarter.

RICHARDS FINDS END ZONE THREE TIMES

Diego Richards

scored three touchdowns in three different ways Friday night to lead Carl Albert to a 35-19 win over El Reno.

Richards had a 2-yard touchdown run, returned a punt 73 yards for a score and added a 14-yard touchdown reception from as the Titans raced to a 28-0 lead.

Dickerson had the first score of the game on a 23-yard run.

El Reno’s had three touchdown receptions from quarterbac­k of 52, 26 and 23 yards, all in the third quarter, to cut the Titans’ lead to 28-19.

Carl Albert’s who had 155 yards rushing on 22 carries, put the game away with a 17-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

WOODWARD KNOCKS OFF KINGFISHER

Woodward’s scored four touchdowns – two on kickoff returns of 88 and 83 yards – as the Class 4A Boomers toppled Class 3A Kingfisher, 49-28, on Friday night.

also had three touchdowns for Woodward, scoring on runs of 3, 8 and 6 yards.

Kingfisher led 21-14 in the second quarter before Woodward scored 28 unanswered points. The Boomers tied the game 21-21 at halftime on Fraire’s 88-yard kickoff return.

Woodward then scored three consecutiv­e touchdowns in third quarter, all on Narlatt runs, to take control. The final score of the game came on Fraire’s 83-yard kickoff return.
