OSU EQUINE CENTER IS DEDICATED

Oklahoma State University’s Charles and Linda Cline Equine Teaching Center was dedicated Tuesday in Stillwater, and major supporters were recognized.

The multimilli­on-dollar center features a teaching barn, indoor arena, classrooms, feed and tack rooms, a wash rack and a treatment area, said Clint Rusk, head of the Department of Animal Science.

Linda Cline, of CharLin Ranch near Cushing, made a significan­t contributi­on to honor her late husband.

Shawnee Milling was underwrite­r for the feed and tack room.

Mel and Jackie Bollenbach, of Oklahoma City, breeders of quarter horse racing stock, funded the viewing and office areas.

Priefert, manufactur­ers of farm, ranch and rodeo equipment, provided the stalls.

Cross Bar Gallery, in Stockyards City, donated artwork and accessorie­s. Heritage Place, an Oklahoma City equine sale enterprise, provided money for the foyer.
