ART MEETS LIFE

The Speakeasy, 1114 NW 51, is hosting “A Very Wes Anderson Art Show: A Visual Tribute to a Viewable Medium,” at 8:30 p.m. Friday. Several local artists have contributed pieces that pay homage to Anderson’s rich visual filmmaking style. Costumes are encouraged but not required. The show is for ages 21+ and free to attend.
