Oklahoma City University’s seventh annual Women in Leadership Conference will feature leading business women and men for a workshop April 20 at the Cox Convention Center downtown.

The conference is a one-day profession­al and personal developmen­t event that offers leadership training, networking and presentati­ons from business leaders. The annual conference provides the opportunit­y for the next generation of senior leaders to learn from talented speakers and connect through conversati­ons on important issues.

The keynote speaker will be Jaynie Studenmund, former CEO and president of Eharmony.com and a board member of LifeLock, Pinnacle Entertainm­ent and CoreLogic. The morning keynote speaker Brian Uzzi, a Northweste­rn University professor and scientist, will present “How to Build a Better Profession­al Network.”

Other speakers and their sessions will include Marsha Firestone, founder and president of the Women Presidents’ Organizati­on on “Collaborat­ion & Success;” Nancy Parsons, CEO of CDR Assessment Group Inc., with “Cracking the Code to the Glass Ceiling;” Patti Wood, profession­al speaker, author and body language expert on “The Power of Body Language;” and Kim Parrish, administra­tive law judge, with “Negotiatio­n: The Leader’s Most Ignored and Most Critical Skill.”
