At the time, she was committed to Missouri State. By the end of the conversation, she was headed to Arlington, Texas, to join University of TexasArlington.

“Just distance-wise and talking with my family changed my mind,” Fair said.

She spoke with The Oklahoman about this season and life off the court.

Q: What was the high point of the season for you? Beating Sapulpa to make state or winning the gold ball?

A: Definitely the gold ball. It meant a lot being a senior.

I’m addicted to Twitter. It just gets me a lot, just talking to other people and tweeting. I’m addicted to it.

My mom. She’s been there since Day 1 teaching me everything. She’s just helped me out a lot.

When I hit high school, I knew I was about to be grown and stuff. It just hit me I had to figure life out.

Bryson Tiller, Chris Brown. That’s about it. I listen to a lot of people. 5-8
