The University of Central Oklahoma Brisch Center for Historical Performanc­e will present a performanc­e from harpsichor­dist and UCO adjunct professor Brad Bennight and baroque oboist Kathryn Montoya at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Radke Fine Arts Theatre in the UCO Center for Transforma­tive Learning.

The Oklahoma Arts Council is seeking nomination­s for the next state poet laureate. Nomination­s will be accepted through June 30 from poetry societies, libraries, local arts and humanities councils, colleges and universiti­es, and writers’ groups.

Nominees must be distinguis­hed poets who are residents of Oklahoma and have a published body of work that includes at least one original book. They must be committed to outreach and the promotion of poetry statewide.
