Edmond dream home will benefit St. Jude hospital
Foster Signature Homes has broken ground for the 2017 Oklahoma City St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house at 8225 Ridge Creek Road in northeast Edmond.
The house, with an estimated value of $499,000, will be raffled for the benefit of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, and the fight against pediatric cancer.
Representatives from Foster Signature Homes, FOX 25, 101.9 The Twister, Epsilon Sigma Alpha and national sponsors Brizo, Shaw Floors and Trane, as well as several subcontractors and suppliers attended the ceremonial groundbreaking.
This is the first time for Foster Signature Homes to build a St. Jude Dream Home.
It will feature a rustic farmhouse style with a big, covered front porch, private master bedroom patio, bonus loft area, custom-built cabinetry, granite counter tops, 12-foot ceilings in the family room and kitchen, barn doors on the study and a dressing area in the master closet.

This amazing pediatric research center that not only treats life threatening cases in children also freely gives guidance to doctors around the world and here in the Oklahoma.”
Construction will continue through June and the house will open for free public tours starting in mid-July.
