Plaza announces new retailers

Nichols Hills Plaza will be adding new retailers to what it calls an eclectic assortment of popular shopping and dining options, its management announced in March.

Locally owned Lash by Lash and Gloss Nail Salon will open their first locations there, while Winter House Interiors and Carwin’s Shave Shop are relocating from Classen Curve.

“Nichols Hills Plaza is proud to enhance the property with unique additions that complement our existing lineup,” said David Allsbrooks, the plaza’s general manager, who also oversees Classen Curve and The Triangle at Classen Curve.

“To meet shopper demand, we continue to evolve to deliver the right combinatio­n of retailers to keep shoppers engaged and returning often.”

Recently, a Trader Joes, En Croute and Purre Barre were added to the plaza’s evolving retail mix.

Outlet Shoppes, zoo team up for event

The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City and the Oklahoma City Zoo are teaming up to host a Shop, Stay & Play event, they’ve announced.

Through March 19, any shopper who spends $200 or more at The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City will receive a free ZOO IT ALL pass from the Oklahoma City Zoo.

The pass covers the cost of admission and delivers unlimited access to all rides and attraction­s within the park, including Stingray Bay, sea lion presentati­ons, lorikeet and giraffe feedings.

The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City also recently announced plans to open several new stores, including a Bath & Body Works, Roosters Sunglass and Spencer’s. The property’s resident Under Armour store also is booked to undergo an expansion in its current location.

Artesian Hotel adds shoe shop

SULPHUR — The Artesian Hotel has a new retail store as part of its shopping complex, it’s announced.

Shoenique features accessorie­s and men’s and women’s shoes, including brand names such as Nike, Clarks, Frye, Under Armour, UGG, Sperry, Johnston & Murphy, Toms and more.

The store is part of The Shops at The Artesian, an outdoor shopping area along the east and south sides of The Artesian Hotel.

“We’re excited to welcome Shoenique to The Shops at The Artesian,” said Justin Williams, interim Artesian area general manager. “It is going to be a great addition to the property, and our grand opening celebratio­n will be something the entire community can come out and enjoy.”

Williams urged people to visit Shoenique during the Artesian’s Spring Fling event on March 25. The event will feature numerous family-friendly activities, including face painting, inflatable­s and various food trucks.

Pub hosts St. Patrick’s Day party

CHOCTAW — The Black Raven Irish Pub is holding a two-day St. Patrick’s Day celebratio­n, it’s announced.

Live, traditiona­l, Celtic music will start at noon on March 17 and March 18 and continue into both evenings. Bands will include Flowers of Edinburgh, Ravens Three, As the Crow Flies and On the Doss.

The pub also will serve Irish foods and brews. Families are welcome and encouraged to come out early for the festivitie­s. Its doors will open at 11 a.m. both days, a release stated.
